Wanna talk shop?
Join Kelly Rae Roberts and Andrea Scher for an afternoon of connection, beautiful food and inspiring conversation! We will come together at the Teahouse in Berkeley for a magical afternoon, a round table of sorts (except the tables will be rectangular) of delicious souls and gorgeous food.
We'll talk about creativity, business, life and love. We'll talk about making dreams real and connecting with our tribe. We'll talk about whatever your heart brings! It's up to you.
This will be a co-creation, a unique experience created because of the special constellation of folks that attend. We know that just the right people will be there and that lasting connections will be made. We are SO excited to meet you!
What you need to bring:
An open heart, ready to connect
A tiny story of serendipity from your life
A curious spirit
The date of this event is Mother's Day! (which originally was a coincidence) We especially welcome mothers who feel a longing to explore their creative dreams and a thirst for nourishing their soul. Let this time be a refuge! A day to nourish your spirit and fill you up so that you can bring all of that richness back to your life.

About Andrea:
Photo Credit: Anna Kuperberg Andrea Scher is a highly-sensitive human, paint-splattered artist, wide-eyed photographer and cartwheeling life coach with a BIG reminder for her fellow superheroes. Ready? Here we go:
You’ve got powers. You’ve got talents. You’ve got a story — and it’s about time you shared it.
Through her award-winning blog Superhero Journal and e-courses, Mondo Beyondo and Superhero Photo, Andrea will inspire you to do just that-- find your passions, dream big and say YES to the life you’ve always wanted. Andrea is also a supermom (no capes, just courage) to two adorable boys named Ben and Nico. You can often find her on her kitchen floor trying to get them to do superhero leaps for the camera. Oh, and she is the co-author of wonderful book called Expressive Photography: The Shutter Sisters Guide to Shooting from the Heart.
About Kelly Rae:
Photo Credit: Tracy Clark Kelly Rae Roberts is an artist, author, and describes herself as a possibilitarian. Much like Kelly Rae's own spirit, her work expresses honesty and tenderness, while remaining lighthearted and colorful. Speaking to her audience, she writes, "My hope is that my work invokes a sense of clarity and peace within you as you walk your own path in life, and that it inspires you discover your own limitlessness."
She is a mixed-media artist who unexpectedly discovered her passion at the age of 30 after a lifetime of ignoring her dream to become an artist. She grew up in Florida and went to college at Florida State where she earned a master's degree in social work. She met her husband in 1999, and they set off to begin a life together in Portland, Oregon where Kelly worked for many years as a medical social worker. Eventually, Kelly decided to take up running, which mysteriously led her to discovering the confidence and passion to pursue her longtime dream of becoming an artist.
Since discovering her passion, Kelly Rae built a broad online following, written a best-selling book, been featured in multiple publications, mentored thousands of artists through her popular blog and ecourses, and launched wildly successful gift and home decor collections through her licensing deals.
Kelly Rae's best-selling book, “Taking Flight: Inspiration + Techniques To Give Your Creative Spirit Wings”, remains one of North Light's top selling books with continuous high Amazon ratings. Kelly Rae has been featured all over the web and in several national publications including: Somerset Studio, Somerset Life, Cloth Paper Scissors, Where Women Create, Artful Blogging, and more, including several books written by her peers.
In essence, she seeks to express a sense of vitality and connectedness in her paintings and writings. Having spent most of her life in the company of women, her pieces grow out of the kindred support she has felt from many of them throughout her life. She is unendingly grateful for the spirits of these women who walk with her, in flesh or in paint, on her incredible journey into art, love and life.
