New Year Journey Circle with Pixie Campbell
Saturday January 28, 2012
10:00 - 5:00, includes catered lunch and beverages
Note: class is limited to 20 participants, early registration is encouraged
Please join me for one day of live sacred circle, where we will engage and connect with our deeper aspects through journeywork, a form of lying-down meditation and active imagination practiced by traditional peoples of many indigenous cultures. Our intention will be focused around manifesting vitality in our artwork and creative endeavors for 2012.
We'll begin with the smudging ritual, cleansing our energies with white sage, a herb used to open up consciousness and open the pathway for guides to make themselves known. I will lead us into our wise, knowing place, where allies reside, through drumming a shamanic beat that resembles our own heartbeat and the heartbeat of the Earth.
While exploring the intuitive realms, you will connect to animal totems, inner healers, and ancestors, all of whom rest inside of your own powerful inner realm to provide you with spirit guidance, restoration and energy for the new year. This work serves as a balancing compliment to the process of creative growth that we, as artists, crafters, and spiritual questers can return to for insight and inspiration again and again.
"When everyone in a room is focused on using their energy to support, love, and heal others, that is exactly what occurs, and this is the energy that supports miracles."

About Pixie:

Creating sacred space to do our soulwork in can look like gathering allies for the journey in which we clear our resistances and obstacles that keep us from living our most luminous creative life. Artists, crafters, writers and poets have been enjoying the journey circles and processes that I've designed because it takes them into the quiet and reflective place of self-care that we don't often reflexively visit when we set out to live our visionary lives. My mission as an artist and spirit guide is to move us through our boulders of obstacles and obsessions, to clear the waterways of polluted thinking and loitering beliefs in order to sweep the creative pathway clear for travel. Because intuitive *knowing* flows freely through us when unobstructed, teaching journeywork has become my passion.
My offering as a facilitator, drummer, sacred space holder and guide is to circle creative beings in sacred space and open up the portals to divine Self which allow us to access the creative movement that so eagerly wants to be expressed. It is an honor to do this work, and to know that awakened women from all walks of life and artistic medium are willing to use traditional tools and allies, such as animal totems and earth medicine to enhance and forward their inspired visions.
Pixie Campbell is a mixed-media artist, traditional crafter, and mama who is passionately dedicated to shedding old skins and helping others do the same. Find out more about Pixie and SouLodge.
